Emily Norman is a professional narrator recording out of her home studio in Norman, Oklahoma. That’s right. Emily Norman from Norman. Acting, singing and reading have always been her happy places, so she has been on stage and in an acting class more times than she can count. Her first clue that this was what she was made to do was in 5th grade when she couldn’t WAIT for her turn to read out loud in front of the class. It was Shakespeare. And yes, she did voices. Fast forward to college. She received degrees from Wheaton College in Philosophy and Vocal Performance giving her an eye for text analysis and an ear for giving a nuanced performance with distinct, authentic characters. She has narrated for big 5 publishers and USA Today best selling authors, and she is a member of the APA and PANA. Sounding like the girl next door, her voice is beautifully suited for heartwarming fiction, YA, Romance, Thrillers and more. She especially loves narrating Christian books due to her personal faith. When she’s not narrating, she can be found drinking a “cuppa” tea with her British husband, overthinking something, chasing their four children around, or having deep conversations.
